Tournaments Database Now Available
With one of the largest databases of tournaments in junior golf, you can now search for any past event and see the detailed leaderboard, tournament stats, and other info.
As TUGR continues to grow and becomes a household name in the golf industry, our goal is to keep the gas pedal on development and innovation. We have countless projects in our pipeline to bring you the best tech solutions and user experience, with the ultimate goal of helping you win!
Win the day. Win the recruit. Win the practice session. Win the shot. Win the mental game battle. Win the course management strategy. Win the event!
Tournament Database
We are excited to release our tournament database to the public. Anyone can now see, search for, and find an event that we’ve ranked. Hero and Legend members can click on any event and see tournament-level leaderboards, scorecards, and analytics.
The database is enormous! Since we rank amateur events, 1-day events, Monday Qualifiers, USGA qualifiers, etc., TUGR has upwards of 30% more tournaments per player than other ranking systems.
Hole-by-hole stats on a tournament level are available to help you understand which holes played easy or hard:

Check out the Scoring Progression chart to see how the Top-10 place finishers progressed throughout the event:

Sometimes it’s difficult to look at a leaderboard and see how the scores were distributed across the field. Now, you have this feature with our Scoring Distribution chart:

How to Use the Tournament Database
The military is great at implementing After Action Reviews as a means of doing a post-mission debrief. In this review, members of an operation discuss what was planned, what actually happened, what went right, what went wrong, how to improve, and lessons learned.
The Tournament Database is meant to give you the tools to complete golf’s version of an After Action Review.
Compare yourself to the field on certain holes. Perhaps your hiccup during an event was nothing more than a course management or strategy issue that could be learned by looking at the hole-by-hole stats. Perhaps you lost patience during a difficult 9-hole stretch, only to realize that everyone in the field struggled during those same 9 holes due to the weather, but using the Scoring Progression chart, you can now visually see it.
In the near future we will release a “Tournament Prep” section to help you prepare for upcoming events, but until then, use this detail to help prepare for future events that are being held at the same course from previous years.
The Tournament Database is another tool in the toolbox to help you understand your game and make better decisions in the future. We did a small restructure of the website structure to allow for an easy user experience accessing the Tournaments Database:
