Junior World and Lots of Events!
24 years ago I played in the Junior World at Torrey Pines. It was the biggest tournament I ever played in at the time and a really cool event. When I watch the Farmers Open each year, I still remember every hole, and how that Pacific wind make that course so hard!
While I couldn’t be there in person this year, my colleague, and one of the TUGR partners, was in San Diego yesterday meeting with college coaches in-person and giving demos of the TUGR Recruiting Platform.
The TUGR Recruiting Platform is unique because it’s the only advanced tool in junior golf, built for coaches, that combines both rankings data, and player analytics data, into one technology solution. This allows coaches to filter, find, sort and locate players in ways that has never been available previously. A 21st Century solution for a sport that sometimes is slow to keep up with the times!
We get asked all the time, “Do coaches use TUGR?” The answer is an emphatic yes! Team from 23+ conferences use TUGR with the SEC and Big 10 as the biggest users.
Rankings This Week
Due to the 4th of July holiday weekend, and the incredible amount of tournaments that are happening right now all over the country, we are a hair behind on loading tournaments this week.
Rankings are updated, but we will re-run them again in the next 24 hours to finish up all of the events. If you don’t see an event right now, give us a day to get the rest loaded.
July is the heart of the junior golf season and the number of junior events being played is truly incredible.
